Your salary will be based on the terms of the collective agreement for the private insurance industry. We also offer holiday and Christmas bonuses above the standard pay scale. As you progress up the hierarchy and salary scale, you will additionally receive a performance-related salary component. By the way: we also pay for internships.

We do more for you. Along with subsidised meals in the canteen, you will additionally receive financial benefits such as bonuses for anniversaries, marriage or the birth of a child. You can also invest in employee shares once a year at a discounted price.

Our company pension scheme ensures that you have a secure retirement. We help you to build up your pension with tax and social security benefits.

We also support you in your everyday life. For example, we pay a subsidy when you move homes. If you are interested in taking out private insurance, we can offer you special conditions. We are bound by the collective labour agreement for the private insurance industry and work a 38-hour week. Our flexitime system gives you the freedom to plan your personal time. And if you accumulate overtime during busy periods, it will be credited to your time account. This is then available for you to use as time off.

If you have children or relatives in need of care and would like to work fewer hours for this or other reasons, ask us about our part-time working models. As well as the traditional half-day five days a week, we also offer other options. More than 20% of our employees currently work part-time.

Want to work where others go on holiday? No problem. We offer Workation, which means you can work for us in another EU/EFTA country for up to 20 days per calendar year, combining work with your holiday. Compliance is a top priority for us. We'll ensure you're in line with international regulatory frameworks so you can work abroad without worry.

Of course, we like to work together on site, but we're also more than happy for you to do some of your work from home. We'll provide you with all the technology you'll need.

It's important to take opportunities to catch your breath, experience something new and spend time with others. We give you 30 days annual leave. You are also entitled to special leave, for example, when getting married or moving. Want more freedom? You can also convert part of your holiday pay into extra days off.

Your commute to and from work is an integral part of your job, and we provide several options to facilitate this process. For those who commute by car, we offer complimentary parking spaces conveniently situated near our offices. You can also charge your e-bike or e-scooter free of charge at our e-charging stations. Our training programme offers you a wide range of seminars – including specialist training, language courses and personal development courses. Depending on the topic, your training will take place live or, increasingly, digitally so that you can enhance your knowledge regardless of time or place. We look after your children so you can work with peace of mind. Our ReKids daycare centre is located on the company premises. Children between the ages of 1 and 3 can be looked after there throughout the day. The facility is funded by the city and Hannover Re. This keeps parental contributions low. Children are accepted all year round, so parents can remain flexible.

In collaboration with the provider voiio, we offer virtual events that children between the ages of 4 and 16 can attend online. The topics are varied, ranging from 'creative upcycling' to 'journalism' and 'programming'. The content is age-appropriate, fun and promotes learning and play at a high educational level.

We have been working for some time with the TALINGO Employee Assistant Programme, a service provider that advises companies and employees on work-life balance issues. The service includes finding available childcare opportunities or nursery places. The family service can also help you look after elderly relatives by finding suitably trained staff.

Our canteens offer an excellent breakfast and lunch menu, a vegan option every day and a salad buffet, as well as organic food. We are particularly proud that our canteens have been rated one of the 50 best canteens in Germany by Focus 2023.

We offer a range of preventive measures and sports activities. From regular sports groups to a partnership with a local gym, every employee can get involved. Sport is also a great way for our employees to get to know each other in a different environment.

The services provided by our company doctor include occupational medicine, general medical advice and treatment, vaccination advice (including travel vaccinations) and administering vaccinations.

We don't want challenges to become burdens. In conjunction with TALINGO EAP, we offer an external telephone counselling service at our Hannover office. This is a free and anonymous instant counselling service for private, professional and psychological/health problems or crises, as well as a family service.
