In this division, you will focus on the users of our IT solutions around the world. As the first point of contact, you will not only provide support, but also take care of other day-to-day operational issues. You will also be responsible for putting new IT services into production. Specifically, we work in the following areas of IT:

Working in this division, you will share responsibility for the delivery, operation and management of our global IT infrastructure and platforms on which our various business solutions are developed and delivered. Several teams are responsible for the worldwide operation of our global networks, data centres, storage systems, servers and the provision of cloud platforms. The aim is to ensure the availability, performance and resilience of Hannover Re's IT infrastructure. Security-related IT services, from penetration testing to cyber security solutions, are also developed here. The further development and worldwide operation of global IT services such as email, file, MS SQL and others are also assigned to this area.

The team around the Chief Information Security Officer is responsible for the internal organisation of external IT/cybersecurity requirements within the framework of the defined risk appetite of the Hannover Re Group.
