Maybe you haven't decided on a career path yet, but you know what's important to you: reinsurance, internationality, networking? If you have a degree in (business) mathematics, economics or information technology, we can offer you a wide range of specialised trainee programmes.
Basic requirements and structure of our trainee programmes
If you are graduating within the next year or have graduated during the past year, then you have come to the right place. Our trainee programmes usually last 18 months long and are divided into blocks of 3- to 4-month. You will develop your skills through selected training courses, specialist seminars and independent projects. You will be mentored by experienced colleagues, get to know different business areas, and spend up to three months at one of our international locations. Together, we will map out your professional future with us.
From trainee to permanent position
Andreas Wadhwa is now Lead Business Development Actuary for Latin America. After studying mathematics, he joined Hannover Re on a trainee programme.
