You can support us in our various divisions for different lengths of time. It may be for just three months or up to two years during your studies. You can work up to 20 hours per week. You can work more during semester breaks as long as you adhere to the 26-week rule. This states that you may only work more than 20 hours per week for a maximum of 26 weeks per year.

This depends on the length of your work-study programme. You can work with us for up to 20 hours a week as part of your work-study programme. Your salary is based on the collective agreement for the private insurance industry. Depending on the period of employment, we also offer holiday and Christmas bonuses above the standard pay scale.

You can support us in several of our divisions. These include, for example, IT, Finance, Group Risk Management, Underwriting in Life & Health and Property & Casualty, and many more.

We welcome students who specialise in Economics, Mathematics or IT. If you have also taken specialist subjects such as Controlling, Accounting, Insurance Management, Actuarial Mathematics, Statistics or Stochastics, we would be thrilled to hear from you. It is also advantageous if you have completed internships, ideally in the insurance or financial services sector. However, you are welcome to apply without any specialisation or internship. Your motivation, your focus on solutions and your pragmatic approach are what we value most.

In general, you need a good command of English, an entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on customers and quality. If you want to join us as a working student, you must be currently registered as a student and prioritise your studies. We welcome students who specialise in Economics, Mathematics or IT. Most importantly, you need to be motivated, committed, a team player and willing to share your knowledge. Additionally, you should be seeking a working partnership.

No. We know that reinsurance is a very specific industry. We address this by organising induction sessions for all new recruits to teach them the basics of reinsurance. After a comprehensive induction programme, you will learn the rest through our many training and development opportunities.
