Our application process
Your path to us will take you through several stages. From the job advertisement through the interview to technical tests, you are invited to ask questions and decide for yourself whether Hannover Re is the right employer for you. We have summarised this process for you:
- Your online application: If you are not already registered, please create your personal account first. You will be asked to agree to our privacy policy which will allow us to store your data (valid for six months). Once you have registered, you will be given access to your personal application portal. You can then start your online application.
All you need to do is enter your contact details, answer a few selection questions (e.g. about your salary expectations and willingness to relocate) and upload your CV as a PDF.
You can continue to work on your application until you receive a response. You can update your application profile, which will be used as a template for new applications.
You can check the status of your application at any time. - Shortlisting by HR: Our HR team will check that your documents are complete and that you meet the basic requirements for the position you have chosen.
If there are any missing documents or details - which can happen - we will contact you by email or phone. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. - Interview: In a face-to-face interview lasting up to two hours with HR and the Hiring Manager, you will get to know Hannover Re and we will get to know you. Just as you are choosing the best employer for you, we are trying to find the employee who will best complement our team.
- Recruitment tests: If, after the interview, we feel there is a mutual basis for working together, you will be invited to the next stage; which includes technical, language, and soft skills evaluations. This will give us a better understanding of you and how you can integrate with our team.
